UC IRVINE CHANCELLOR’S CLUB

ABOUT

The Chancellor’s Club, established in 1972 by Founding Chancellor Daniel G. Aldrich Jr., is the longest running philanthropic group at UC Irvine. Club members include many of our most passionate UC Irvine alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends whose membership supports one of the university’s greatest needs, as identified by the chancellor. Under Chancellor Gillman, our mission is to increase scholarship and fellowship support for first-generation students.

OUR IMPACT

Since its inception, the Chancellor’s Club has raised over $11 million, directly impacting the lives of more than 400 undergraduate and graduate students. In expanding access and opportunity for first-generation students, we play a critical role in helping UC Irvine maintain its reputation as a leading institution doing the most for the American dream.

JOIN US

Our club members enjoy a unique relationship with campus leadership, including invitations to exclusive events such as the annual Spring Update. Members are also invited to participate in volunteer and mentorship opportunities, leading and inspiring the next generation of thinkers, leaders and change-makers. Our members stay apprised of current initiatives and priorities through periodic communications, faculty lectures and social gatherings.
