As part of The UCI Fund, the Telephone Outreach Program (T.O.P.) plays an integral role in providing alumni, parents, friends and students with the information they need to stay connected to UCI. Staffed by UC Irvine students, T.O.P. callers are committed to engaging with the UC Irvine community and raising philanthropic support for the University. This dedicated group contacts thousands of members of the UCI community by phone every year.
When a TOP representative calls you, you have the opportunity to learn more about the campus, ask any questions you may have about UC Irvine, update your records, and make a difference by contributing to the UCI Fund. We urge you to pick up the phone when a UCI student calls.
How do you know UCI is calling?
Our callers are all current UCI students and employees. Calls originating at our student call center should display the UCI Call Center phone number —(949) 824-1234 —on your caller ID unless it is blocked or restricted.
We welcome you to take the time to speak with our students when they call. Students build valuable communication skills and are great ambassadors for the university. Will you answer the call?
